Taste Baguette: Sydney (14 May 2012)

So yesterday I decided to revisit taste baguette after my last visit and try their lemongrass chicken baguette :) However, somehow by the time I reached the counter to order, I found myself ordering the char grilled proven├žal vegetables (warm marinated vegetables served with coral lettuce, rocket, tomato, boconcini and basil pesto). Definitely hit the spot - the chargrilled vegetables were all marinated well prior to being grilled, and as always, the pesto worked wonders with the generous serves of vegetables (though I wished they gave a bit more of the boconcini!). This was all sandwiched between the freshly baked French-style baguette, baked fresh every 15 minutes :)

Pre-cooked meat fillings, ready to go!

Although I'm usually more of a meat eater, I found the baguette really tasty and would definitely get it again if I another vegetable craving comes along. Though next time, it's time to get that chargrilled lemongrass chicken baguette!
