Terrazza: Chatswood (20 May 2012)

Located in the Concourse at Chatswood, Terrazza offers a simple selection of breakfast menu options with a a peaceful outlook onto the grassy area of the concourse. The service is friendly without being intrusive, and it was nice to see one of the waiters having a conversation with the table next to us (presumably regulars).

Italian Eggs - Scrambled eggs served with pancetta, roasted Roma tomato & toasted italian bread ($14.90).
The creamy scrambled eggs with the sweetness of the roasted tomatoes cutting through, went well with the paper thin pancetta.

Terrazza Big Breakfast - two eggs, bacon, italian sausage, mushrooms, potato rosti & roasted Roma tomato served with italian bread ($16.90)
I love mushrooms, especially when they're sauteed well in lashings of butter and herbs, but I was a little disappointed with the lack of flavour of these mushrooms. However the crispy parts of the bacon and the potato rosti made up for it, of which both were so satisfying albeit quite unhealthy :)

Both breakfast meals were simply cooked but still satisfying. Although it probably wouldn't count as a memorable breakfast by any account, Terrazza still offers wonderful service in a beautiful location. I have heard some good things about their gnocchi so we're contemplating on coming back during lunch or dinner to try it out :)
