Bassim: Strathfield (4 June 2012)

It can be daunting at times trying to choose between all the korean restaurants in Strathfield, so typically I just stick to Jonga Jip in Eastwood or Madang in the city. Today we decided to brave Strathfield, and try out Bassim which is one of the more modern looking korean BBQ restaurants located along Albert St (near Moochi).

Complimentary sides
Sol Long Tong
We both ordered from the lunch special menu, and chose the sol long tong which is a calcium-rich pork bone soup that is complimented with vermicelli and tender slices of beef flank. Warming and perfect for the cold weather.
Purple rice :)
Futuristic looking modern interior
Lunch/Dinner menu
Lunch specials

The service was friendly and efficient, and the meal was reasonably priced. However there wasn't anything that was "special" as such with the meal, so I guess it's back to exploring further with the korean restaurants in Strathfield :)
