Garden buffet (dinner): Pyrmont (7 July 2012)

Last week we were offered half price tickets for the garden buffet at the Star, so we gathered the family together and made a family outing out of it. Once you get past the 20-30 minutes line during peak hour dining (6-7.30pm), you'll be greeted with a huge range of varying cuisines, fresh seafood (well mostly just prawns), desserts and unlimited non-alcoholic beverages (soft drinks, coffee and tea).

My personal highlight from the dessert selection - the chocolate was thick and rich, and made us all feel like children again - happily stacking as many marshmallows as possible on a skewer before coating each side evenly with the chocolate

While the quality of the food is average, the variety is huge and seems to be a hit amongst all ages. As a bonus, there is a weekday special for July at the Garden Buffet where it is only $9.90 per person for the lunchtime buffet (monday to friday).
